Pakistan Army heli rescues American mountaineer
RAWALPINDI (92 News) - A Pakistan Army helicopter on Tuesday rescued an American mountaineer Robert Jackson from K-2 base camp.
As per the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the US mountaineer was part of 27 members K-2 expedition which reached Pakistan on 16 June. "He suffered height sickness enroute to K-2 summit," the statement said. "He was rescued to Skardu yesterday. "
The rescued mountaineer was all praises for the Pakistan Army after his rescue.
