Pakistan Army troops at high alert along LoC: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Due to prevailing environment Pakistan Army troops are at high alert along Line of Control (LoC) with all required safeguards along Eastern Border in place to thwart any Indian aggression. According to Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), troops of Pakistan Army are on high alert along the LoC to deal with any Indian aggression. It also said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN) continue to stay fully alert. “During the last 48 hours, Indian troops have resorted to increased ceasefire violations in Kotli, Khuiratta and Tatta Pani Sectors along LoC, Pakistan Army troops have been responding effectively,” the ISPR said. “The reports related casualties to Indian forces and damage to Indian posts. Indian deliberate firing on civilians resulted into shahadat of 4 citizens and 2 injured.” Pakistan Armed Forces are in a state of readiness for all eventualities. The citizens were also advised to stay mindful about rumour mills and stay responsible in use of social media.
Two pilots killed as two Indian jets shot down by PAF: DG ISPR
A day earlier, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian jets on Wednesday, giving the first surprise to India.  According to the ISPR, the Indian jets had violated the Line of Control. The PAF gave a timely response and destroyed them. The Pak Army jawans arrested one of the pilots. The wreckage of one of the jets fell in the Pakistani territory, while the wreckage of another jet fell in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan does not want to push the region to the war. “No one wins a war and only humanity loses. We are a responsible state and want peace. The war is not a solution to any problem. We do not want to do anything which will prove our irresponsibility,” he said.
