ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistani government has asked the British government to reopen the money laundering case against the founder of MQM Altaf Hussain. The Interior Ministry has asked to review the decision to conclude the cases against Altaf Hussain. Pakistani authorities wrote that evidence gathered by the Scotland Yard during the course of investigation against Altaf Hussain be shared with Islamabad to help advance the cases in Pakistan. In October, the Scotland Yard announced that no “further action will be taken against Altaf Hussain” and others in the case.
