DHAKA (92 News) – Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the last match of the Asia Cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium on Friday.
Batting first, Sri Lanka amassed 150 runs for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
TM Dilshan smashed 75 with the help of 10 fours and a six. LD Chandimal (58) was another main scorer.
Mohammad Irfan got two wickets, while Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik got one wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan achieved the target for the loss of four wickets. Sharjeel Khan (31), Sarfraz Ahmed (38) and Umar Akmal (48) were the top scorers.
Kulasakara, Jayasuriya, Dilshan and Siriwardana got one wicket each.
