Pakistan, China reiterate support for peaceful political settlement in Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan and China has reiterated their support for a peaceful political settlement and all-inclusive setup in Afghanistan.

During a video call between National Security Advisor Dr. Moeed W. Yusuf and Chinese State Councilor and Minister of the Public Security of the People's Republic of China Zhao Kezhi, both the leaders discussed regional peace and security as well as other matters of mutual interest. The two leaders have determined to remain closely engaged over the evolving situation in the region.

The Advisor said the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Chinese nationals working in Pakistan will be brought to justice.

They also agreed that the Afghan soil should not be allowed to be used against other countries by terrorists.
