Pakistan condemns killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces in IIOJ&K

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan has strongly condemned the extra-judicial killing of an innocent Kashmiri in custody of Indian occupation forces and of another youth in fake encounter in Bandipora district of the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In a press release, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri called upon international community to hold India accountable for its grave human rights violations in the occupied territory.

He stressed the need to investigate the custodial deaths and extra-judicial killings of Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces by an international Commission of Inquiry as recommended by the Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights in its reports of 2018 and 2019.

The FO spokesperson said the Indian occupation army has intensified arbitrary detention of Kashmiris and their extra-judicial killings in the name of so-called “cordon-and-search operations.
