Pakistan denies consular access to Kulbushan Yadav

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale called on Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Indian high commissioner repeated demand of consular access to Kulbushan Yadav.

Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua conveyed to India that consular access cannot be provided to a spy.

The foreign secretary while referring to legal aspects said that Yadav was a serving Indian naval officer, who was involved in nefarious terrorist activities in Pakistan.

She said that India didn’t cooperate Pakistan when contacted when Islamabad had asked to provide access to people connected with Yadav.
