Pakistan denounces terrorist attack in Kabul

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has denounced terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expressed the resolve to eliminate this menace on Monday here. In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal denounced the terrorist attack outside Hamid Karzai International airport in Kabul yesterday resulting in loss of several innocent lives and injuring many others. The FO spokesperson said we express our support and solidarity with the people and the Afghanistan government of in this hour of grief. Earlier, at least 14 people have been killed and more than 40 wounded in a suicide bomb blast near Kabul's international airport that struck minutes after Afghan Vice President Rashid Dostum returned to the country from more than a year in exile. Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai said the blast on Sunday went off near the main airport entrance, where supporters had been waiting to greet Dostum as his motorcade passed on its way to the city centre.
