Pakistan fought war against terrorism for 20 years: Fawad Chaudhary

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary said that Pakistan had fought the war against terrorism for 20 years.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Monday, he said that they make the decisions keeping in view the national interest.

"The US public opinion is not in favour of keeping troops in Afghanistan. So far as peace is concerned, Afghans will have to make the decision collectively," he said.

The minister said that people should not play in the hands of the enemy for political interests. "Over 845 websites were nabbed. There is need to strengthen our institutions. Today each institution is being raised from its foundation," he said.

He said that former governments had recruited people on political basis.
