ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan has gained a great success in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) despite strong Indian opposition. Addressing a press conference after a meeting of the Special Review Committee on Kashmir on Saturday, he said that all institutions and opposition parties had participated in the meeting and gave their output. “Yesterday we conquered a battle. The UNSC meeting condemned the aggression against Pakistan in Pulwama. It was an unusual meeting,” he maintained. The minister said that the UNSC meeting had been very successful. “The international media also openly supported Pakistan’s stance after a long time,” he said. “There will be a question mark on the silence of the international community on the violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.” Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Modi government had buried Nehru’s India and these voices were coming from India. “Yesterday the people came out to offer their Friday prayers in Occupied Kashmir. It is possible that India could carry out a fake flag operation. We doubt the intention of India and Pakistani nation is ready for it,” he added. The minister said that India could do something to divert attention from the issue. “We are creating a Kashmir cell in Foreign Minister. Moreover, such cells are also being created in Pakistani embassies.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=18WdFjIzObE DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the Kashmiris are being threatened which would give a strong reaction. “The armed forces and the nation are ready. We will give a befitting reply if India tried any misadventure.” He said that India should forget Azad Kashmir and talk about vacating the old occupation. “The statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Asif Ghafoor regarding to going to the last extent is the narrative of the Pak Army,” said the DG ISPR. He said that Pakistan is a responsible statement. “The Kashmir dispute is a flashpoint. We reject the allegations of intervention on the Line of Control,” he declared. The DG ISPR said that the situation in Occupied Kashmir is linked to security in Pakistan. “There is jail-like situation in Occupied Kashmir presently,” he declared.
