Pakistan has only one option, we have to face challenges: COAS Asim Munir

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has said that Pakistan has only one option and they have to face the challenges.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan on Tuesday. "The life and property of Pakistanis are more important than the interests of another country and worldly interests," he declared.

The COAS stressed the need for focusing on the people. "We will go to any extent to establish the writ of the state," he added.

At the end, he recited a verse by Poet of the East Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal 'Na Samjho Gay Tou Mitt Jao Gay Aay Hinsustan Walo/Tumhari Dastan Na Ho Gi Dastanon Mein' (If you don't understand, you will disappear, O Hindustani people/Even your story will not be in the stories).
