Pakistan hopes Afghan Taliban will continue dialogue process for peace in Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office spokesman on Thursday hoped that Afghan Taliban will continue dialogue process for lasting peace in Afghanistan. In a statement issued on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesman said that the second round of talks between Taliban and Afghan government were suspended due to the news surrounding the death of Mullah Omar. He said that the dialogues were suspended on the request of Afghan Taliban. The FO spokesperson said that the friends of Afghanistan including Pakistan hoped that the Taliban leadership will be part of the dialogue process for lasting peace in Afghanistan. Pakistan further hoped that the evil forces will not be able to sabotage the peace talks between Taliban and the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
