Pakistan issues letter of credit for MI35 helicopter purchase from Russia

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has on Tuesday issued letter of credit for the purchase of four MI35 helicopter from Russia. Sources said that the Pakistan and Russia have finalized the purchase of Russian made MI35 helicopters. “Pakistan had allocated $155 million dollar for the purchase of these helicopter but Russia will sold at the price of $153 million dollar, $2 million dollar less from the estimated amount,” sources revealed. The helicopter is capable of round-the-clock missions. It has more fire power and improved performance characteristics. The helicopter is armed with precision-guidance missiles. The helicopter can be used for troop’s transportation and as cargo helicopter.
