Pakistan lodges strong protest with India over ceasefire violations

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan on Friday condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along the Working Boundary and LoC. According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan lodges strong protest with India over civilian martyred by Indian unprovoked firing at LoC and Working Boundary. The Foreign Office said that despite calls for restraint, India continues to indulge in ceasefire violations. In a statement, the FO spokesman said that the inauguration of Kishanganga Dam was violation of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT). He further said that Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav will not be handed over to Indian in any condition. Earlier, FO spokesman had mentioned that ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation.
