Pakistan making sincere efforts for peace in region, says Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Tuesday said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been progressing successively since its launch and action will be taken against the facilitators of terrorists to eliminate menace of terrorism. British Under Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Tobias Ellwood called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed bilateral relations, war against terrorism and regional situation. The British Under Secretary lauded sacrifices of the Pakistani nation and institutions in war on terror. The Minister said more efforts are needed at the international level to defeat terrorism. Nisar said that Pakistan is playing a constructive role and making sincere efforts for peace in the region despite provocations and allegations from the other side.
