WASHINGTON (92 News) – US State Department Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner has on Thursday once again demanded Pakistan to do more, saying that Pakistan needs to take more steps in fight against terrorism. At a daily news briefing on Thursday, he said that the US appreciates Pakistan’s role in fight against extremism. The spokesman said that United States is working closely with Pakistan and India in its fight against terrorism, however, the US still has concern over the steps taken by Pakistan and the US has warned Pakistan about its concerns. Mark Toner said that Pakistan will have to do more for peace in the region. “The United States strongly supports all efforts between India and Pakistan that can contribute to a more stable, democratic, and prosperous region, but this is an issue that must be determined by the two sides,” Toner said.
