Pakistan Navy continues its effective vigilance, alertness: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Situation along Line of Control (LoC) remained relatively calm, the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) said, in his statement on Tuesday. According to the ISPR, Indian armed forces fired in Hot Spring Sector deliberately targeting civilian population. The ISPR also said resultantly 26-year old citizen Sharafat son of Abdul Qyuum resident of village Dara Sher Khan got injured. It said that Pakistani Army troops effectively responded on Indian posts undertaking the fire. The ISPR said in Maritime domain Pakistan Navy continues its effective vigilance and alertness. It also said that Pakistan Navy detected an Indian Navy Submarine south of Pakistani coast. It further said that Pakistan Navy’s alert and vigilant presence displayed the capability to deter and safeguard the sea front against any misadventure. The ISPR said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was also prepared and vigilant.
CJCSC, air chief discuss operational preparedness of PAF
Earlier today, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has said PAF – being the first line of national defence – has come up to the expectations of nation in the recent conflict against the enemy. Talking to Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan today (Tuesday), he said the nation is proud of the valiant sons of the soil, who thwarted the enemy’s nefarious designs. The Air Chief also apprised the CJCSC about the operational preparedness of PAF and reiterated his resolve to safeguard the sovereignty of motherland, whenever challenged.
Two Indian jets shot down by PAF: DG ISPR
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian jets and one pilot was arrested on Wednesday, giving the first surprise to India. According to the ISPR, the Indian jets had violated the Line of Control. The PAF gave a timely response and destroyed them. The Pak Army jawans arrested a pilot who was later identified as Abhinandan. The wreckage of one of the jets fell in the Pakistani territory, while the wreckage of another jet fell in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. One pilot has been arrested by Pak Army jawans.The captured pilot can be heard saying: “My name is Wing Commander Abhinandan. My service number is 27981. I am a flying pilot. My religion is Hindu.”
