Pakistan Navy continues rescue & relief operations in Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Navy has evacuated over 1,000 people from low-lying areas along the River Indus during their rescue and relief operations. According to a spokesman for Pakistan Navy, these operations are in progress in Khairpur, Ghotki, Pano Aqil, Ranipur and Gambat. The bodies of two women drowned in Dadu Canal, Larkana, have also been recovered by the rescue teams. Another consignment of six tons of relief goods by Pakistan Navy has also been dispatched to Khairpur from Karachi. A tent city is also being established at Khairpur by Pakistan Navy for the flood affectees.
