Pakistan Navy organizes friendly cricket match at Muzzafarabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Navy organized a friendly T20 cricket match between PN and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) cricket teams at Narrol Cricket Stadium Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.

Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (S) Rear Admiral Tariq Ali was the chief guest on the occasion. The cricket match was also witnessed by AJ&K officials, civil dignitaries and a large number of locals.

The Kashmiri people overwhelmingly welcomed and appreciated Pakistan Navy’s initiative of organizing the cricket match as healthy activity to promote social relationship with Kashmiri populace.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (S) Rear Admiral Tariq Ali highlighted PN’s continued support for the just and legitimate struggle of Kashmiri brethren in IIOJ&K for their right of self-determination.

He assured Pakistan Navy formidable defence for the maritime frontier of Pakistan and devotedly committed to provide continued quality support and assistance in health and education sector across the country for the fellow countrymen. In this regard, Pakistan Navy has also established free medical camps in far-flung areas of Kashmir and provided medical treatment and medicines to over 3,000 patients.

The conduct of friendly cricket match at AJ&K is a manifestation of Pakistan Navy resolve to aspire our youth to engage in productive and healthy activities.
