Pakistan opens Kartarpur Corridor gate

KARTARPUR (92 News) – The Pakistan authorities opened the gate of the Karatrpur Corridor on Saturday. After the opening of the gate, a large number of Sikh yatrees are entering Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, Indian former prime minister Manmohan Singh said that the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor is a historic moment. “The corridor opening will improve the relations between both countries. Today is a big day for the Sikh community,” he said. Indian Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh said that they had been demanding the opening of Gurudawara for the last 70 years. “Today our longstanding desire has been fulfilled,” he said. He said that it is the beginning and the beginning is good.
