ISLAMABAD (92 News) – OIC Secretary General Ambassador Hissein Ibrahim Taha has said that Pakistan has played its best role for a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.

Talking to media, he appreciated Pakistan's role in evacuation of foreigners from Afghanistan after the 15th August. “It is high time to think how Muslim countries can help their Afghan brethren in this critical time.”

He expressed hope that Pakistan will continue its positive role of helping the people of Afghanistan.

“The extraordinary session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will provide an opportunity to Muslim countries to discuss ways to help Afghan people, facing looming humanitarian crisis,” he added.
