Pakistan is pursuing policy of peaceful neighborliness: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Wednesday said that Pakistan is pursuing a policy of peaceful neighborliness and the goals of peace and stability in the region can be achieved through peace and prosperity. Addressing the 13th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit in Islamabad on Wednesday, he stressed the importance of peace in the region and said that time has come for us to play a historic role. The prime minister said that with a 20 billion population, Pakistan is the world’s biggest market. “The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project will boost transport, communication and energy sectors and the project will connect South Asia and Central Asian region,” he said.
