Pakistan records 3,974 fresh coronavirus cases during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has recorded 3,974 fresh coronavirus cases during last 24 hours on Wednesday.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the country reported 66 deaths in a day by novel coronavirus and the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 24,639.

The NCOC said that the country’s number of overall confirmed cases has risen to 1,109,274, adding that the positivity rate of infections was recorded at 6.91 percent.

Till now 47,088 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 22,067 in Punjab, 7,006 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,539 in Islamabad, 720 in Balochistan, 4,878 in Azad Kashmir and 911 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
