Pakistan records 3,039 new COVID-19 cases, 88 deaths in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan recorded 3,039 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 88 deaths during the last 24 hours on Sunday.
The coronavirus pandemic is showing no signs of slowing in Pakistan as the country reported the most number of deaths, 88, and a record number of coronavirus cases, 3,039 during the last 24 hour.
According to statistics provided by the official government website on the coronavirus situation in Pakistan, Pakistan topped its previous record number of new COVID-19 cases reported over 24 hours, 2,636, on May 28.
According to National Command and Operation Center, the number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in the country has reached 69,496 while 88 deaths reported during the last 24 hours.
The cases so far reported in Punjab 25,056, in Sindh 27,360, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 9,540, in Balochistan 4,193, in Islamabad 2,418, in Gilgit-Baltistan 678 and in Azad Kashmir 251. 25,271 patients also recovered till now.
