Pakistan records 65 deaths, 2,179 fresh COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has recorded 65 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 11,623 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,179 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours as the the number of positive cases has surged to 545,000.

Till now 245,633 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 156,928 in Punjab.

According to the break-up, there are 245,663 cases in Sindh, 156,928 in Punjab, 66,679 in Punjab, 18,809 in Balochistan, 41,255 in Islamabad, 8,972 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,908 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
