Pakistan Records Highest Number Of Coronavirus Deaths In A Day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan has seen its highest rise in deaths in a single day from the coronavirus (COVID-19), with 4,646 new cases taking the country’s death toll from the highly contagious virus to at least 2,172.

These include 40,819 in Punjab, 39,555 in Sindh, 14,006 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,788 in Balochistan, 5,785 in Islamabad, 952 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 412 in Azad Kashmir.

The death toll from the virus stands at 2,172 with 105 deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours. 24,620 corona tests were also carried out during this period.35,018 patients have so far recovered from the disease.
