Pakistan reports 2 deaths, 382 COVID-19 cases in a day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Two people have died of the COVID-19 across the country, while another 382 people have been diagnosed with the virus and the condition of 87 patients is critical.

In the last 24 hours, 13,412 tests were carried out in the country and 382 people were confirmed to be infected with the virus. Two people died from corona while the condition of 87 patients was critical.

According to the National Institutes of Health, the rate of positive cases of corona in Sindh reached the highest at 6.17% while the rate of positive cases in Karachi was 22.65% and in Hyderabad it was 0.32%.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the rate was 1.15 percent, 5 percent in Nowshera, 4.17 percent in Abbottabad, 3 percent in Peshawar and 2.44 percent in Mardan.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) officials said that the overall rate of positive cases in Punjab was recorded at 1.17%. In Lahore it was 2.76, in Sargodha it was 1.64 while in Rawalpindi it was 1.05. Similarly, the overall rate of positive cases in Azad Kashmir was 2.94 and in Islamabad it was 2.31 percent.
