Pakistan reports 27 deaths, 1,980 new Covid-19 cases

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – 27 more people succumbed to the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the country over the previous 24 hours, taking the death toll from the disease to 22,582.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the country’s caseload rose to 973,284 after 1,980 new infections were detected during this period.

A total of 48,382 samples were tested, out of which 1,980 turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. The positivity ratio of cases was recorded at 4.09.
