Pakistan's interest in Afghanistan is only for peace and stability: Sheikh Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that Pakistan's interest in Afghanistan is only for peace and stability.

Talking to the media, he said that there is mourning in India. "The Indian media is lying. There are no refugee camps anywhere in Pakistan. The Afghan border has been fenced to prevent terrorism."

Sheikh Rashid said that Afghanistan will need some time. "Freezing of Afghanistan's account will be a human tragedy. Biden spoke with the Chinese president for 75 minutes. We welcome the dialogues between two superpowers. Institutions are working hard. Our government is in contact with China and Russia. A meeting with the Iranian president is also expected," he added. We have appealed to the world to open accounts in Afghanistan."

Sheikh Rashid termed the protesters as fools,  saying that if the opposition has any objection to EVM, they should discuss the issue with the government.
