Pakistan's position on Palestine is unchanged, says Caretaker FM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that Pakistan's position on Palestine, which was yesterday, is the same today and will remain the same in the future.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that Pakistan's stance is the establishment of an independent state of Palestine.

He said that there is no thought regarding recognition of Palestine in Pakistan. "Palestinians should be given the right to self-determination. Solution to the Palestine issue is the establishment of an independent state. Pakistan will not follow any country and it will make the decision in the national interest," he added.

He said that the Kashmir and Palestine issues are alike.

The FM said that India should grant visas to Pakistani fans for the World Cup. "We will talk to the ICC regarding the visa issue," he maintained.
