ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar has said that the disclosures made in the BBC report confirmed Pakistan’s fears about India. Talking to the media on Thursday after meeting with the British High Commissioner Philip Barton, Chaudhary Nisar said that the BBC documentary is very important. Chaudhary Nisar said that he will formally write to the British authorities. The minister said that during the meeting, he asked the British high commissioner to help provide them access to details of the disclosures made in the BBC report. He said he had apprised the high commissioner of concerns among the government and other national institutions about the report. The minister said that the report is not against all members of the MQM, but a few people of the party. Chaudhary Nisar said that there are many patriots in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and only British authorities will decide the fate of the MQM. He said that they already knew the details of the report. “Our intelligence agencies had already reached the evidence,” the minister added. Commenting on investigations into the Imran Farooq murder case, Chaudhary Nisar said that Scotland Yard team will arrive in the country in next few days. Earlier, the minister briefed the prime minister Nawaz Sharif about development regarding the BBC report.
