Pakistan should raise voice against Indian interference at every level, says Ch Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid provincial president Pervaiz Elahi has said that Pakistan should raise voice against Indian Research and Analysis Wing’s (RAW) interference in country’s internal affairs at every level. In 92 at Eight Programme on Saturday, he said that only Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif is raising voice about the Kashmir issue and against India. He said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement should go to court if the allegations levelled against it in a BBC report are wrong. The PML-Q leader said that the federal government is responsible for the deaths occurred in Karachi due to proplonged loadshedding and heatwave. “The government has failed in fulfilling its promises of ending loadshedding,” he said. “Nandipur Power Project is also not working.” He said that the government should have spent the money on ending loadshedding instead of spending Rs 50 billion on Pakistan Metro bus project. “The government has wasted Rs 15 billion in Chiniot,” he added. Pervaiz Elahi said that all power plants are not working that was installed by the current government. He said that government is seeking funds to run Rescue 1122 service started by his government. The PML-Q leader said that people are now reminding their tenure. “We facilitated farmers during our tenure,” he said. “Government has imposed taxes on the livestock of poor farmers.” Pervaiz Elahi said that it is surprising that Rana Sanaullah has again become law minister after killing 12 people in Model Town incident. “I reject the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) into the Model Town incident,” he said.
