Sharjeel Khan contributed 74 runs, Shoaib Malik 47 and Muhammad Hafeez. Australia had won the toss and chose to bat. Australian batsman David Warner opened a great play by completing a splendid century with the help of 9 fours and one six. Warner and Maxwell contributed 78 runs. Pakistani bowlers yet again showed a disappointing play by dropping several catches.
