Pakistan successfully combated terrorism: president
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi said on Sunday that not only Pakistan successfully combated and defeated the scourge of terrorism but also proved wrong the false interpretation of Islam and terrorism.
Addressing the “4th Paigham-e-Islam conference” on Sunday, the president has said that Islam is the religion of peace, equality and compassion.
Pakistan provides shelter for millions of Afghan refugees

He said Pakistan hosted 3.5 million Afghan refugees and their third and fourth generation is still living in Pakistan. He said today, the entire world is paying tribute to the bravery of our armed forces. On the occasion, Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Noorul Haq Qadri emphasized the need for unity in the ranks of Muslim Ummah to achieve the goal of progress in the comity of nations. He said only the Prime Minister is not responsible for making Clean and Green Pakistan campaign successful rather, we all have a role to play in this regard for prosperity of the country.Imam-e-Kaaba recites Holy Quran

Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany on Friday led the Jummah prayers at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
The prayers were attended by thousands of people from the twin cities and prominent figures of society hailing from various walks of life. The Imam also delivered sermon before the prayers.

Dr Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany arrived in Islamabad to Paigham-e-Pakistan Conference on Saturday.
He will also meet Pakistan leadership today. He will lead Juma prayer at Faisal Masjid today besides giving sermon.
He will also attend a seminar in International Islamic University.
Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany will also go Lahore where he will lead prayers in Badshahi Masjid.
Yesterday, Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany arrived in Islamabad on a seven day visit.
