Pakistan summons Indian HC over violation of airspace

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Foreign Office summoned the Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad on Thursday and registered strong protest with him over violation of Pakistani airspace by an Indian drone. As per details, the Foreign Secretary also registered Pakistan's concern over Heli manoeuvres near LoC on eleventh of this month, which was an offensive and threatening posture. Protest was also lodged for the recent unprovoked ceasefire violation by the Indian BSF at Phuklian-Akhnor sector  and at LoC and Working Boundary which resulted  in the martyrdom of one civilian. The Foreign Secretary emphasized that in the spirit of maintaining peace and tranquillity at the LoC and the working boundary and the region at large, it was important that the 2003 Understanding on maintaining ceasefire is observed. The Indian High Commissioner assured to convey the message to his authorities, accordingly. Earlier, a UAV was brought down by the Pakistani troops which had entered the Pakistani airspace.
