Zimbabwe win toss, elect to bat against Pakistan in first T20I

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat in first T20I at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

After the ODIs, the T20 series will now be played at the Rawalpindi Stadium. 

Both the teams practiced hard at the Rawalpindi Stadium to overcome their shortcomings. The players held their training session for three hours to improve their batting, fielding and bowling skills.

Pakistani skipper Babar Azam says that same like ODIs, the team will try to perform well in T20 series and will come on the field with good combination.

Zimbabwe cricket team captain said that they will win the T20 series against Pakistan and they gained confidence after winning the third ODI.

Shadab Khan will be unavailable for selection for the first T20I against Zimbabwe due to his injury. The leg-spinner is recovering well from his injury, but he is advised for more rest.

The decision to include Shadab in the remaining T20I matches will take place in due course.

Shadab suffered from stiffness in his left upper-leg during the first intra-squad warm-up match in Lahore on 23 October.
