Pakistan to get US$2.27 billion from IMF on August 23: Shaukat Tareen
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will give Pakistan US$ 2.27 billion which will be directly transferred into the account of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that they had taken several steps in the budget and expecting growth.
He said that the IMF had released US$650 billion to different countries. "The situation will improve with an increase in the reserves. We are thankful to the IMF," he added.
