Pakistan to hold population census next year

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday decided to start census in the last week of March 2016 during a meeting to review the work plan for the upcoming census. According to the declaration issued on Thursday, the concerned departments have been directed to complete preparations for the census. “The armed forces will be responsible for the law and order during the census,” the declaration said.
