NEW YORK (92 News) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi has said that Pakistan revealed the real face of India through successful diplomacy. In an exclusive interview with 92 News special correspondent Ghulam Hussain at Pakistani Mission in New York on Thursday, Ambassador Lodhi said that important documentary evidence regarding Indian spy Kulbhushan Jhadav’s anti-Pakistan activities and Indian atrocities in Kashmir has been handed over to the UN secretary general. “India itself became a victim of international isolation amid its efforts to isolate Pakistan,” she said. If India tried to stop the waters of Pakistan, it should be considered a water war, she further said. “There are no prospects of bilateral talks with India for now while Pakistan has always wanted to solve all outstanding issues with its neighbor through a dialog,” she said. “We are not begging India for a dialog but it is to remind this so-called democracy that negotiations are in favor of both the countries,” Ambassador Lodhi said. The Kashmiris are being oppressed by Indian forces. Nawaz Sharif in his UN General Assembly address in September also raised Pakistan’s voice for the oppressed Kashmiris in front of the world, she said. She said that the UN appreciates the role of Pakistan in its peace mission across the world and this causes pain to India. The UN secretary general has acknowledged the services of Pakistan for the institution, the UN ambassador added.
