Pakistan urges world to take urgent steps to tackle coronavirus crisis

At the United Nations, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram in his opening remarks at virtual joint meeting of UN Economic and Social Council and Peace Building Commission said resurgence of Covid-19 underscores the need for continued vigilance.

He also called for scaling up financing from all sources in the rebuilding process and getting back on track for the sustainable development goals.
