ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that Pakistan wants to see a stable government in Afghanistan.

Expressing his views about the Prime Minister Irman Khan's interview published in New York Times, he said that Pakistan had convinced the Afghan Taliban to hold dialogues with the United States of America and the Afghan government. "We will not let anyone use our soil," he declared.

The minister said that Pakistan was also ready to play its role to reduce tension between the US and China.

He also expressed hope in normalization of relations with India. "Pakistan will have a significant position among two big markets – India and China. The world, including America, cannot ignore Pakistan," he added.

Fawad Chaudahry said that Pakistan could think of sealing the Pak-Afghan border if the situation deteriorates in Afghanistan.
