Pakistan will come out of difficult economic situation successfully, COAS assures businessmen

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has assured the businessmen that Pakistan will come out of difficult economic situation successfully.

The assurance was given by the COAS to renowned businessmen during a meeting in the presence of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

The COAS said that the risk of default has been averted. "Worse conditions have been left behind and now the country will make progress. We will emerge as a prosperous country," he asserted.

He asked the businessmen determined and confident.

Speaking on the occasion, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that all advance conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had been fulfilled. "The agreement with the IMF will be inked in a few days."

He said that friend countries have promised to make investment in different sectors. "We hope that these countries will give the investment in advance," he added.
