ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan will continue to fight the case of Kashmiris at every forum.

Addressing the Kashmir Solidarity Walk on Wednesday, he said that the world had shut its eyes over the Indian state cruelty and violence continuing for the last seven decades.

Paying glowing tributes to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, President Alvi said that Pakistan fully stands by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. "Our hearts beat with the Kashmiri people. The people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir celebrated the win of Pakistani cricket team against India which shows their love for Pakistan. India should be ashamed of its act of registering cases against the celebrating Kashmiris," he said.

The President categorically stated that India would not be allowed to change the demographic structure of the disputed territory. "Kashmir will get independence and become part of Pakistan. With such Hindutva and RSS ideology, the Modi government is only digging the grave of its own country," he maintained.

In his message, Prime Minister Imran Khan said: "I also urge the international community to play its role in pressing India to stop forthwith its human rights violations in IIOJK, and let the Kashmiris decide their own future in accordance with the UNSC Resolutions.

"I reassure my Kashmiri brothers and sisters that Pakistan will continue to provide all possible support and stand shoulder to shoulder with them till the realization of their legitimate and inalienable right to self-determination."
