Pakistan will defeat coronavirus like China: FM Qureshi
MULTAN (92 News) – Calling out the nation to get united on one platform, Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday vowed to defeat coronavirus same like China.
In an exclusive talk with “Subh Savaray” program, the foreign minister said that no government in the world can single handedly defeat this deadly virus. “Government is taking every possible step to safe its people from the pandemic,” he added.
“If the government is instruction to the citizens for staying at their homes, it must be beneficial for them. The purpose of vacations does not mean to visit their relatives’ home and visiting parks,” FM Qureshi maintained.
He further said that today is day for Friday prayers and none will be stopped from offering prayers in mosque but they should have to take preventive measures. He also informed that he would talk to take dead relief in international conference.
In his tweet, FM Qureshi passed various directions to the staff of his ministry from his residence. He continued to deal matters related to his ministry, while sitting at home as he had decided to go in self-isolation for five days after recent visit to China.
He urged the countrymen to avoid visiting crowded places and stay at homes as maximum as they can. “Avoid shaking hands and hugging each other amid coronavirus threat,” he added.
