ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has expressed his resolved that Pakistan will do everything for peace in Afghanistan but never want military action on Thursday.

The prime minister expressed these views while responding to the questions from the delegation of Pak-Afghan Youth Forum in Islamabad. "It is unfortunate to blame Pakistan for the Afghan crisis. Neither we are the spokesperson of Taliban nor we have any favourite in Afghanistan, he clarified.

"The future Pakistani economic policies depend on peace in Afghanistan as a precursor. Pakistanis consider the people of Afghanistan their brothers. Peace in Afghanistan will give Pakistan access to the Central Asian Republics. No country in the region can claim the same efforts as Pakistan. The Afghan government and the Taliban must work together to solve their problems."

He further maintained that the recent statements from Afghan leaders blaming Pakistan for the Afghan crisis is unfortunate. He also added that it is Pakistan that has strived hard to convince the Taliban first for talks with the US and then with the Afghan government.

Referring to the Afghan ambassador's daughter abduction, PM Khan further said that he would share the details of the incident with the Afghan team.
