LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan women defeated Bangladesh by 14 runs in the first match of T20I series at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday. Put to bat after winning the toss, Pakistan amassed 126 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Bismah Maroof hit 34 with the help of five 4s. Umaima Sohail scored 33 off 36 balls. Iram Javed 21 was another main contributor. Pakistan, women, thump, Bangladesh, 14 runs, 20I match Jahanara Alam took four wickets, while Panna Ghosh, Lata Mondal and Rumana Ahmed got one wicket each. In reply, Bangladesh could score only 112 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Rumana Ahmed made 50 runs off 30 balls. Nigar Sultana (17) and Sanjida Islam (14) were other main scorers.
