Pakistan would have been 'Asian Tiger' had PML-N govt not been removed: Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan would have been an Asian Tiger had the PML-N government not removed.
Addressing the parliamentary board of the PML-N on Tuesday, he complained that the PTI was given a majority through various tactics in 2018. "The country was heading towards a default when the PML-N assumed the power in 2013," he added.
Nawaz Sharif said that the PML-N steered the country out of the crises. Pakistan's export was increasing. We had said goodbye to the IMF, but everything was reversed," he maintained.
He recalled that the policies formulated by him had long-lasting impact. "The situation is quite different in countries around us where the currency rate was low and poverty ruled there," he added.
The PML-N Quaid said that they ended loadshedding in their tenure and the dollar rate was maintained during four years. "We will have to resolve to steer the country out of the whirlpool in the wake of the victory in the elections," he added.
