Pakistan XI beat UK Media XI in T20 Peace Cup match

MIRANSHAH (92 News) – Pakistan XI defeated UK Media XI by 133 runs in the T20 Peace Cup match at Younas Khan Stadium in North Waziristan. Chasing a victory target of 254, UK Media XI were all out for 120 runs. Batting first, Pakistan XI scored 254 . Shahid Afridi and Inzamamul Haq and Kamran Akmal helped Pakistan XI pile up the imposing total of 254 runs. Earlier, UK Media XI won the toss and opted to field first against Pakistan XI in a T-20 Peace Cup Match being played in Miranshah, North Waziristan. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said that such activities will prove that Pakistan is a peaceful country. A large number of people, children and tribal elders are present at Younis Khan Stadium to watch the match.
