LAHORE (92 News) – Three Pakistani nationals including a minor girl will leave for their country today after spending over 10 years in Indian jail. An Indian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) had deposited Rs 400,000 fine to secure release Pakistan woman with India-born daughter from Amritsar jail. Mumtaz and Fatima, residents of Gujranwala were arrested on charges of drug trafficking after travelling to India via Samjhota Express in 2006. Fatima was pregnant at the time of her arrest and her daughter Hina, who was born in jail, can now speak and read Punjabi, Hindi and English. She is a student of Class V in the Amritsar jail school.
