ISLAMABAD (92 News) – An Afghan soldier who was severely injured during gun battle with the terrorists, was rescued by the Pakistani troops who crossed the border to evacuate him to a medical facility. According to a statement issued by the ISPR, the soldier was evacuated after receiving requests from the Afghan authorities. “The Pakistani troops entered 600 meters inside Afghanistan near the Bajaur Agency to rescue the wounded soldier,” the statement said. The wounded soldier was then admitted to a hospital in Bajur where was given medical aid.
